Stars of Science back for new season
The search for the leading innovators in the arabic world is back for a new season since last saturday. Stars of Science, the famous edutainment reality TV show, promotes developers and entrepreneurs in the whole arabic world.
Initiated and supportet by Qatar Foundation the eights season of Stars of Science comes up with a new, local approach: The candidates develop creative solution for regional problems in information technology, healthcare, energy and environment.
Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development (QF) is a private, non-profit organization that is supporting Qatar by unlocking human potential for the benefit of not only Qatar, but the whole world. Founded in 1995 by His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Father Emir, QF is chaired by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser.
Since eight years the candidates of Stars of Science develop products and sell them in the whole world. They received more than 50 international and regional prizes.
“Stars of Science is the best platform to bring forward innovative ideas”, says Anwar Almojarkesh, founder and CEO of Braci, a company that is specialized on supporting technologies for hearing impaired people.
His success in searching for investors was repeated by 15 other candidates of the show: Together they acquired more than 9 million US dollar for their ideas.
The eights season of Stars of Science runs since September 17th every saturday at 10 pm (CEST/Germany: 9pm) in Saudi Arabia on MBC4.
