Qatar establishes aid programs in Syria and the Central African Republic
Qatar Charity (QC) announced that 35 trucks carrying food have entered inside Syria through the Syrian-Turkish border to help the displaced families and families affected by the war in several provinces of Syria. A total of 30,000 food baskets were distributed to the regions affected by the war in Aleppo, Hama, Idlib and Latakia.
QC already had success: More than 25,000 displaced Syrians have benefited from the project.
Also Qatar Charity assists the Central African Republic with projects including the handover of 350 clay houses in Moyenne-Sido and 3400 Ramadan food packages for displaced persons. Moreover, through the projects of Qatar Charity artesian wells were built up and hygiene awareness campaigns were launched.
