Qatar Charity delivers homes to Syrians

Qatar Charity (QC) has delivered 200 housing units to indigent Syrian people on the first phase of a project in Wadi Al Daif in Syria. Each unit consists of two rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. QC will deliver another 200 housing units four months later.

Mohammed Jassim Al Suleiti, Relief Coordinator QC, said, “QC has always proven itself committed to helping the brothers and sisters in Syria. It is to alleviate their suffering and provide all necessary means for a better life. Having a home is essential, and this is what we try to do. QC will ensure the displaced people return to their cities and villages once they are safe and secured.”

Qatar Charity has made available a total amount of QR 376,000,000 for displaced Syrians. More than 6.8 million people are benefiting from the projects in Syria and the neighbouring countries. The projects cover the providing of food, shelter, health and education in Syria.
