HH the Emir condemns bombings in Brussels
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has denounced the recent terrorist attacks in Belgium that wounded and killed dozens of innocent people yesterday morning. He expressed solidarity with the country as it grapples with “violence and terrorism, whatever the motives and causes were.”
The terrorist organisation that calls itself ISIS has claimed responsibility for the blasts at Brussels Airport Zaventem and at the metro station Maelbeek. HH the Emir stated that the attacks “represent a violation of all heavenly religions, moral values and human principles” and expressed condolences to the people of Belgium.
